Hi Alan, I was recently watching your tutorial for supersonic and I noticed some of the strums were yellow and I’d be really grateful if you could tell me what they mean.

Hi Ronan – It’s called a palm mute; you have to place your hand across all the strings on a down strum a fraction of a second before the pick hits. It’s all about timing and finding the best position for your hand to make contact. It took me a few days of practice (on and off in bursts of about 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day) but It was worth it. Your guitar tutorial is fun, easy to follow, practical and easy to follow. I have began to gradually used to your fabulous tutorial lessons. I have copied down and saved the guitar chords for recall purposes. I am slowly progressing from beyond playing and struming the dual Frank Sinatra and his daugther Nancy Sinatra classic “Something Stupid” to others and more complex and faster tunes like Sugar Sugar, Space Oddity, California Dreaming, Do Wah Diddy Do, Dizzy etc.

Hi Sam, I create the graphics using Adobe Photoshop then add them a frame at a time to the raw footage using Adobe Premiere Elements 🙂
